Trisha

Trisha Krishnan is a model and film actress, who primarily works in South Indian films. She made her Tollywood debut with Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu in 2003. The beautiful actress has also appeared in Falguni Pathak's music video "Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye". Trisha has won three Filmfare Awards for Best Telugu Actress and also nominated for multiple Filmfare Awards in Best Actress category. She received an award at 'Annual 18th Asianet Film Awards' for her Tamil film Aranmanai 2. She was recently seen in the movie Nayaki. 

Biography

Trisha was born on 4 May 1983 in Pallakad, Kerala, India. She has completed her schooling from Sacred Heart Matriculation School in Church Park, Chennai. Later she has done her BBA course at Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai. Initially, she aspired to become a criminal psychologist but finally became a popular actress. She is very much fluent in Tamil, Telugu, French, Hindi and English languages. Since her childhood, she is inspired by Salman Khan. She likes to listen music, reading books and swimming in her free time. She has been the Goodwill Ambassador of PETA.

Trisha Krishnan has signed a film alongside veteran star Arvind Swamy. As per the sources, Arvind Swamy and Trisha Krishnan will feature in lead roles in a 2014 sequel, Sathuranga Vettai. The film will be directed by Nirmal Kumar and Vinod has written the screenplay. Sathuranga Vettai-2 is expected to go to sets before this year end.

Trisha will also be seen opposite Dhanush in the movie 'Kodi'. In Telugu it has been titled as 'Dharma Yogi'.

Family/Personal Life

Trisha Krishnan was born to Krishnan and Uma Krishnan. Her father worked as the hotel manager for a star hotel in Hyderabad. He was died in 2012 due to cardiac arrest. Being an actress, Trisha's mother was offered various roles by Tamil film makers and actor but she rejected because she wanted to focus on her daughter's career. Trisha is very close to her mom and resides in Chennai with her mother and grandmother.

Marriage

After relationship with Tollywood actor Rana Daggubati, Trisha has fallen in love with an entrepreneur-producer Varun Manian. The couple got engaged on 23 January 2015. But the engagement was broken. Currently the actress is not dating anyone.

Career

Trisha has started her career as a model for many popular brands including Pepsi, Fair and Lovely, Medimix. She has made her film debut with tamil movie "Jodi" in 1999. In the same year she has won the "Miss Salem" beauty pageant and Miss Madras contest. She had also won the Miss India 2001 pageant's "Beautiful Smile" award. Trisha was given the Telugu Filmfare as well as the Santosham Award for Best Actress for "Lesa Lesa".

After acting in seven Tamil films Trisha made her Telugu film debut with Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu in 2003. Her Tollywood film career has turned out to be amazing with the super hit film "Varsham" opposite Prabhas. She later also appeared opposite some top heros in the films Bangaram, Stalin, Sainikudu, Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, Krishna, Sankham, King and many more. Currently, she is very busy with Tamil films.
