Rana Daggubati

Rana Daggubati is an Indian film actor and producer who appears in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. He is also a visual effects co-ordinator and photographer. He made his acting debut with Telugu film "Leader" which earned him Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut South. He made his Bollywood debut with Dum Maaro Dum. Previously he also produced a film 'Bommalata A Belly Full of Dreams', which won him National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. Rana is coming up with the movies Ghazi and Baahubali 2. 

Biography

Rana Daggubati was born on 14 December 1984 in Chennai. He has completed his high school in Vengal Rao Nagar in Hyderabad. He has done his college education at Chennai Film school and graduated in Industrial Photography. During his education, he produced several documentaries and advertisement films in Chennai and Hyderabad for various brands. He has also gained proficiency in various facets of film-making.

In Baahubali: The Conclusion

Baahubali: The Conclusion is an upcoming Indian epic historical film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. This movie is the continuation of the first part Baahubali: The Beginning. The movie reprises Baahubali part 1 cast, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in the lead roles. Rana will also reprise his role as Bhallala Deva. Rana Daggubati is the son of Tollywood film producer Daggubati Suresh Babu and Lakshmi Daggubati. His grandfather late D. Ramanaidu was a noted film producer, who held the record for the largest number of films produced by an individual in the Guinness Book of World Records. He has a younger brother Abhiram and younger sister Malavika. Rana is the nephew of actors Venkatesh and Nagarjuna Akkineni. His cousin Naga Chaitanya is also a tollywood actor.

Girlfriend/Dating

Rana has dated tollywood actress Trisha Krishnan for several years. But the couple has parted aways. As per the latest reports, Rana Daggubatti and Shriya Saran are seems to be in a relationship. They both were spotted together at a party. But the actress has denied the reports. 

Career

In 2006, Rana produced his first film Bommalata A Bellyful of Dreams, which won him the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. He made his debut in Telugu film Leader which earned him much following. His first release in 2012 was Naa Ishtam which is flop at the box-office. He next starred in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, which became a box office success. He also made a special appearance as Sanjay in Tamil film Arrambam (2013). He was last seen in Gunasekhar's Rudhramadevi. His upcoming movie is S. S. Rajamouli's Baahubali Part 2 (Baahubali: The Conclusion).
