Parvathy Omanakuttan

Biography

Parvathy Omanakuttan was born on 13 March 1987 in Changanassery, Kerala and was brought up in Mumbai. She has done her schooling from Sheth Chunnilal Damodardas Barfiwala High School. Later graduated in English Literature from Mithibai College. She represented India in the 58th Miss World held in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 2008 she was announced as the First Runner Up Miss World at The Grand Finale.

Parvathy also won the sub-titles of Miss Photogenic, Miss Personality and Miss Beautiful Hair in the Femina Miss India 2008 pageant. Parvathy was crowned the first ever Pantaloons Femina Miss India South 2008, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre held in December 2007. She also won the sub-titles of Miss Beautiful Hair and Miss Best Catwalk in PFMIS 2008.

Family

Parvathy Omanakuttan is the daughter of Omanakuttan Nair who manages the Shamiana restaurant, Ahmedabad and her mother is Sreekala. She has one younger brother Jaysurya. When Parvathy was months old, her father used to work at Taj Hotel in Mumbai.

Boyfriend/Marriage

Parvathy feels that her career is her husband and is not interested to marry soon. She said that, she loves to have a love marriage and wanted her husband to be her best friend. But currently the actress is not dating anyone.

Career

Parvathy made her movie debut with Bollywood flick United Six directed by Vishal Aryan Singh. Within no time she made her Tamil film debut with the 2012 gangster film Billa II. In 2013, she was seen in her first Malayalam film KQ as Sunaina. The later year Parvathy was seen in her second Hindi film Pizza, a remake of the same titled 2012 Tamil film.
