Ram Charan

Ram Charan is an Indian film actor, entrepreneur, dancer, producer and a businessman as well. He has made his acting debut with the film Chirutha. His second film, 2009 blockbuster Magadheera made Charan to establish himself as one of the leading actors of Tollywood. 

He has won two Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Awards South, two CineMAA Awards and one Santosham Best Actor Award. He made his bollywood debut with the remake of Zanjeer. In 2016, Charan has established a production house, 'Konidela Production Company'. He was the co owner of Anjana Productions. He is one of the highest paid Telugu actors in the country. 

Biography

Ram Charan was born on 27 March 1985 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. He studied in Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School, Chennai and he was brought up there itself. He is famous for his dance moves in Telugu Film Industry and he has good skills in Martial Arts. He also knows horse riding well. He owns a Polo Team Ram Charan Hyderabad Polo Riding Club (RC HPRC). He also serves on the board of directors of MAA TV. In July 2015, he has started his own Hyderabad-based airline business called TruJet.

Dhruva is an upcoming action-thriller, which is being directed by Surender Reddy. It is produced by Allu Arvind under his Geetha Arts banner. It is the remake of super hit Tamil movie "Thannu Oruvan". The movie features Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. Famous actor Aravind Swamy will play villain role. The movie will hit the screens on 2nd December 2016.

As producer

Ram Charan has turned producer for his father Chiranjeevi's upcoming 150th movie titled as 'Khaidi No. 150'. It is being directed by V. V. Vinayak and produced by Ram Charan under Konidela Production Company. The movie features Kajal Aggarwal and Chiranjeevi in lead roles, As per the sources Charan will do a cameo in his father's prestigious movie.

Ram Charan Teja was born to Tollywood superstar-cum-politician Chiranjeevi and Surekha Konidala, who is a home maker. He has two sisters Sushmitha and Sreeja. He is the grandson of late Allu Rama Lingaiah, who was a comedian. Actors Nagendra Babu and Pawan Kalyan are his paternal uncles. Indian film producer and distributor Allu Aravind is his maternal uncle. Actors Allu Arjun and Allu Sirish are his cousins.

Marriage/Wife

Charan got married to Upasana Kamineni, the vice-chairman of Apollo Charity and chief editor of B Positive magazine. The engagement took place in Hyderabad on December 1, 2011. Upasana is the granddaughter of Prathap C. Reddy, the Executive Chairman of the Apollo Hospitals. Subsequently, Ram Charan married her on June 14, 2012 at the Temple Tress Farm House. The couple later visited the Tirupati temple and had their honeymoon in Vatican City.
