Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor is an Indian actor popular in bollywood. He made his acting debut with Bhansali's 2007 flick Saawariya for which he was awarded with Filmfare Best Male Debut award. Now he will be seen in movies like Jagga Jasoos and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He is all set to play the role of Sanjay Dutt in his biopic which is being directed by Raju Hirani.

Scion of Kapoor family, Ranbir was born on 28 September 1982 in Mumbai to famous bollywood actors Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor. He is the great-grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor and grandson of actor-director Raj Kapoor. He has an elder sister, Riddhima Kapoor, a fashion designer. His paternal cousins are actress Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.

Career

Ranbir started his career as an assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the movie Black in 2005. Later, Bhansali casted him as the main lead in Saawariya opposite Sonam Kapoor. Then he was seen in many movies like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Barfi and many more.

Girlfriend/ Marriage

As per the reports, Ranbir Kapoor was dating actress Katrina Kaif but the couple has broke-off and are no longer on talking terms. Ranbir has officially moved out of the couple's Carter Road penthouse and is living in his own flat in the suburbs. Both of them have never accepted or denied their relationship with each other.

In Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is an upcoming Bollywood romantic film directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lead roles. Ranbir will play the role of Aayan in the flick which is set to release on October 28, 2016. The teaser of the film is out and it shows the complex relationship between Ranbir, Anushka and Aishwarya's characters.

In Jagga Jasoos

Jagga Jasoos is an upcoming Indian comedy-drama film directed by Anurag Basu, and produced by Basu and Ranbir Kapoor. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Govinda in lead roles. The film is scheduled to release on June 3, 2016.

RK Films

Ranbir Kapoor has been dreaming of re-launching his paternal grandfather Raj Kapoor's prestigious production house, RK Films. He is apparently gearing up to act in and direct a home production. He is all set to take on the responsibility of actor and director for RK Films.

Education Qualification

Ranbir did his schooling from Bombay Scottish School, Mahim. He attended HR College before setting off to New York to pursue a course in acting and direction at Lee Strasberg Institute and School of Visual Arts where he made about 300 short films.
