Deepika Padukone 

Deepika Padukone is a stunning Indian actress and a model who is well known for her presence in Bollywood. Her talent made her to rope into the industry, even without any godfather. She has established herself as one of the top actress of B-town. She made her acting debut in 2006 Kannada film Aishwarya and later played the lead role in the movie "Om Shanti Om" opposite Shahrukh Khan, which proved a major commercial success and earned her the Filmfare Award for the "Best Female Debut". Deepika was born on 5 January 1986 to Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone in Copenhagen, Denmark. When she was eleven months old they moved to Bangalore, India. While in high school, she played badminton at the state level. However, she was not keen on pursuing a career as a badminton player. At the age of 17, Deepika walked for her first ramp show.

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is an upcoming action film directed by D. J. Caruso starring Vin Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Jaa and Donnie Yen. It is a sequel to the 2002 film xXx and it is not connected to XXX: State of the Union. It features Vin Diesel and Bollywood actress Deepika padukone in lead roles. It is the third instalment of the XXX film franchise.

Deepika is the elder daughter of Prakash Padukone, who was a former top world level badminton player and Ujjala Padukone, who is a travel agent. She has a younger sister Anisha, who is a golfer and ranks ninth in the country in the sport. Deepika is the grand-daughter of Ramesh Padukone, who was the Secretary of the Mysore Badminton Association for many years. She played her first official tournaments in the year 1962 and has won the Karnataka state junior championship title.

As per the latest reports, Deepika Padukone is dating actor Ranveer Singh. The onscreen couple obviously felt the sparks off-screen as well. Deekika Padukone did her schooling in Sophia High School at Bangalore and completed her pre-university studies at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. After completing her graduation she joined Indira Gandhi National Open University in Bachelors of Arts (Sociology) but never completed it. She gave up studies for modelling and acting.

Career

Deepika Padukone pursued a career in modelling. She started modelling assignment with Lakme fashion week in 2005. Later, she signed many modelling assignments and was awarded as Model of the year in Kingfisher fashion awards. She was a Brand ambassador of Levi Strauss and Tissot SA. She made her cinematic debut in the Kannada Film Aishwarya in 2006 starring opposite actor Upendra.

She made her bollywood entry with Shahrukh Khan's Om shanti Om followed by many superhits like Chennai Express, Cocktail, Ramleela, Piku and many more. She has received many prestigious modelling offers including brand ambassadorship of the Jewels of India and an annual jewellery exhibition.
